Wendy Cook, LCSW

My name is Wendy Cook, and I am an LCSW in Helena.  I have been a licensed clinical social worker in the Helena area since 2010.  I have been working as a social worker in Helena for the past 20 years.  My experience includes working with children and families at Intermountain Children's Home, and also as a Child Protective Services worker with the state of Montana.  I have been a medical social worker at St. Peter's Hospital for the past 13 years.  

I am currently accepting new referrals for individual, couples, and family therapy.  I have experience working with all age groups, and am accepting new clients from all age groups.

I have a great deal of experience providing support to individuals who are dealing with grief/loss, depression, chronic illness, life transitions,and caregiver support needs.  I primarily utilize a psychodynamic approach in my therapy sessions.  I also utilize solution focused brief therapy techniques to assist clients with problem solving and setting new goals.
