Being a therapist has been a life-long dream. It is important to me to help people believe that it is possible overcome obstacles in their lives that prevent them from becoming all they hope they can be. It has been my privlidge to work with adults, children, and families and to see the transformational process that hope, positive intent, and the deveopment of new skills can achieve.
All of my clients have further been benefitted by the assistance of my therapy dog, Yuro. He helps to create an atmosphere of safety, comfort, and fun. The assistance of animals in therapy also provides a basis for understanding not only our relationship to self but also serves as a bridge to understanding our connection to others.
